4 yearsMelissa Umbach Thank you. Yes, there really are bears in the area. As we were hiking to the creek we saw fresh scat. It depends on what kind of bear. If it’s a Black Bear you can yell and make noise and they’ll go away. (Usually!!) If it’s a Grizzly...pray!
